Re: Build Complete
Justine, I believe I was careful in the Cam Gear alignment; I do remember that step. But, I guess that is where I will begin if flashing with the new firmware doesn't resolve the issue. Honestly, I'm excited that I got the whole phone together and that it powers on and does something. This sort of p...

Re: Assembly
The new antenna parts went together without any issue once I knew that I needed to be careful of the thickness of the hot glue. What glue would you recommend here if not hot glue nor CA?

Re: Build Complete
My build is also complete! And, it does some stuff. It powers on, and I put a SIM card in it from US Mobile. As for the SD card, I need to hunt down an adapter to upload the files to it. There do seem to be a couple of issues in my initial testing. 1. It only dials the number 2. No matter what numbe...

Re: Assembly
When assembling the antenna, don't get too much glue under the antenna board. I was too liberal with the hot glue; then, the outer antenna enclosure wouldn't fit. And, in trying to separate the antenna board from the inner enclosure, I managed to damage the board...just another minor setback.

Assembly
With the governor spring in hand, I was able to make a little more progress this evening! And, I am happy to say that the dial mechanism seems to be working well. I was concerned about trying to mate the two boards and while keeping all of the gears in place; but, they mated flawlessly (following Ju...

Re: Missing Parts
The directional spring(s) arrived today. However, it looks like the post office ignored the "Non Machinable" stamp on the envelope. I'm not sire they will work after being flattened.

Re: Received my kit!
Spoke too soon, I appear to be missing the directional spring from Bag B. Going to give the other bags a thrice over in case I missed anything else, but I’m fairly certain that’s all. I also appear to missing the directional spring for the governor. But, I am excited to say that I have made it far ...

Re: Received my kit!
Justine, The super glue nozzle hole is of an average size. I could just see it being very easy to get it on the inner race of the bearing if one is not used to the consistency of super glue. Also, I sent you an email about the location of the M2 nylon washers when attaching the bell arm assembly to ...
