Hello out there

I am happy to read that a community of German-speaking RUSP owners is emerging. I am located at the Lake Constance (aka Bodensee), made my contribution via PayPal on January 17, 2021 and I am still waiting patiently for my parcel from Justine.

I'm curious to see how things evolve :-)

Hi,

Yes , there are several unseres from Germany.
Some of them have already their phone, like me..
But nobody is answering or posting any updates of getting their phone working or not..?!

I will try serial connections during Christmas holidays.. and let you know what is working or not…

I succeeded to get it running with the latest firmware, but no calls yet..

Some of the assembling steps are very tricky, I have asse
Reassembled the phone 15-20 times to get the dialing working with the correct numbers, also the firmware upload was successfully after 4-5 tries..

Hi
Two days ago, I finally received my long-awaited phone.
I am still in the process of assembling it.

If anyone has already managed to get such a phone running in the EU, I would greatly appreciate any tips or advice.

The other Dutch guy from Munich here, mine arrived last week, but it was the second order from 2023. The first order from 2022 is still pending, but as I already wrote here in the forum, it's definitely worth the wait for me. I am so fascinated by the RUSP that they can take all the time in the world, as long as I get it at some point... but now I have one to play with, I just need to find a weekend when I don't have any family commitments...

Hi,

great, another Phone in Germany, Munich...
Be prepared to overcome some difficult steps in assembling... see my building notes I posted previous.

And to get the dial working you probably need a couple of times assembling ..dissassembling..
Better not to put all the covers on, before starting with the software etc..

I managed to get a lot of things working, but no serial connection possible to test the sim.

I hope we find some programmers to get this phone working at the far end,
here in the forum very little is happening to solve the software issues.

Let me know how your phone is coming along!
