Thank you, AndrewL. The information is very helpful. I was able to get mine wound up again, but it was not easy. Having the OLED glued down makes it much harder to rebuild the dial, as you cannot install a fully assembled dial with the OLED glued down. I would suggest changing the instruction to say to hold the OLED down with tape or a single small drop of hot glue until the phone has been completely tested.
After I put my dial back together, I retested it, making sure the output of the hall effect device was conected the main board. Unfortunately, numbers still do not appear when the dial is used. Without some support to correct this problem, it does not make sense to keep working on this project, so sadly, I have boxed it up for now. Should we get some help from Sky's Edge on how to correct this issue, I will work on it again.
