Are RUSP still being made?

I paid for one in 2022, and am still waiting for a kit to arrive. I've read the blogs, and am aware of the problems .. but 2.5 years is a bit much. I haven't had any replies to my emails ... is this still up and running?

Cheers
Rod

You've been waiting longer than me (2023)! I have noticed the website changed so there is some activity over there, but Justine lost her husband recently. My heart goes out to her, and I hope she has lots of support in her life. Not sure what the future of the RUSP will be.

I had the same experience. I paid for a kit in 2022 and was very patient. I'm sure it takes a long time to get a project like this off the ground. I would just like an update every now and then so I can hope.

I preordered back in early 2022 which is nearing the 3yr mark. I sent an email regarding an address change I needed to make as I have since moved from my previous address where I preordred the phone. That email was sent almost 2yrs ago now and I have yet to receive a reply back from it. I understand there have been some big setbacks and I do understand the loss of a loved one. I lost a parent a few years ago, but I still had to go to work every day and I still had to make a living. It would be nice to at least have somewhat regular updates on this project, or at the very least replies to emails. I'm beginning to think this is going to end up vaporware and who knows how long, or if I would ever get a refund if I asked for one.

@Ceno, the team are working in Justine's absence and for the record the loss of a partner is not the same as the loss of a parent. My heart goes out to Justine and I would never wish that kind of pain on anyone.

@imyxh, may I suggest that there is some sort of FAQ for normal routine like the change of an address or other such pre-shipping procedure.

I am an option B and I too have reached out in the past few months with a change of address request since moving countries but have had no reply from the team.

One additional thing, I have been out of the loop for a bit so only just catching up now, so please forgive the silly question in such a case but does the replacement chip you are upgrading to atm support Bluetooth and if so, could we look at adding the hardware for this to the spec of the RUSP as an optional add-on... the device is long overdue at this stage for most of us and I am sure like me, there are others who would not mind the nice update for at least BT HSP support.

Just emailing support@skysedge.com is perfectly fine for that kind of thing, but responses are slow. I just found your email in Justine's inbox; we'll take care of it.

Unfortunately (or fortunately, as a privacy benefit?) neither of the MCUs we currently use have any BT support. That said in a pinch if you're desperate for it I suppose you could get a 3.5 mm to Bluetooth transmitter for like $10 online....
