And when i Connect with Putty i do not get any responses back from the arduino…

Any AT command are Not responsive..
Is something wrong with the LARA..?
Does it react Even when the sim is Not working..?

Lots of questions..

Me again, trying to get deeper and deeper into the firmware.. understanding only a little..

Now I found a way to see the serial data at 115200 Baud.. 9600 no result.
Most of the time the dail is working, missing now and then a digit.

But something is wrong with the LARA, see attached serial ...

Be prepared to overcome some difficult steps in assembling... see my building notes I posted previous.

And to get the dial working you probably need a couple of times assembling ..dissassembling..
Better not to put all the covers on, before starting ...

- Battery.. the thin wires tend to break if not fully engaged inside the connector

I managed to put the latest firmware on the phone..
As a newbie , I first had to understand how to do so, creating a new folder with just the "rusp_firmare" , and learning how to upload.
I can confirm you need to use the mega2560..

Also the paperdisplay works now...

Now I will discover more ...

do I need to flash the firmware, or does the Arduino already has the firmware installed..?

I have no clue what needs to be on the SD card..?

I received my Kit and have assembled, with up and downs, last weekend.
After switching on the first time I tried to dail several numbers, and after some tweaking of the gears,
I am able to dail correct numbers. ;)
But that's all...
