Thanks for the update, while it's sad to see the project come to a conclusion I certainly can't blame you as I followed the progress the past couple years,
you deserve a break.
I hope this at least inspires others to tinker and explore engineering, and maybe in time we'll see more unique "unsmart-phones" being designed.

I will be eager to contribute photos of the kit when it arrives. 👍

While it certainly wasn't for everyone, this was certainly a fun project for me to build and tinker with. The idea obviously hit a chord with people, as have similar 'anti-smartphones' like the light phone.

I also just wanted another rotary phone for my little but growing telecom collection. The RUSP looks great on the shelf.

Building and selling hardware has always been hard. The story of modern consumer electronics has been a race to the bottom for a while now as far as price and build quality.

Thanks for everyone's hard work, and good luck on your future projects!

Just spotted this! I'm grateful for all the hard work and time you've spent on this project! I can totally understand the toll it's taken on you, and I respect both your work up to now, and the decision to step back from it. You've done something huge here, which literally millions of people would never have attempted in the first place, much less carried as far as you have. I'm proud to have contributed; even if you count this as a failure in the long run, I for one am glad to have been along for the ride.

I've been patient and merely living in my own world, checking up on it every year or so.

Justine, thank you for your dedication.

I sent an email, but posting here just in case one is more successful.
I think I will take a kit. Willing to buy a few extra shells if that is an option.

It has been so long, I cannot find my order number, but it was likely paypal payment with this email. Contacting paypal to seek 2020-2022 transactions to find the details if this is necessary.

Great news!
Its been a long haul, with too many setbacks.
I am excited that I'll be receiving a kit soon
Are we going to be notified it is in the mail, or are we going to be surprised when it arrives?

Thanks for your perserverance

Great to hear the kits are coming in! That you and your team has seen this through is monumental. I'm happy for all of you to be able to close the book on this with your orders fulfilled.

I send a few emails but did not hear back- A while ago I opted to wait for the complted phone since I got busy with other builds but I just want to make sure I'm not in some option loop limbo and that I will be getting a kit too when they arrive :D

Thank you all, hats off!
