Building phone question regarding affixing OLED display to mobo

I'm just startng to build my phone and I'm up to the point where it says to affix the oled display to the Motherboard with hot glue or RTV adhesive. However, I'm just concerned that if I use glue it will be permanent and if anything were to happen to the phone that would require the oled display to need replacement or repair, it would cause a lot of problems removing the old one. Would using a strip of double-sided 3m tape work in place of glue? I found some heat-resistant 3M double-sided tape that might do the trick.
